IoT Weather Hackathon

Join us for 4 hours of building IoT enabled weather stations! We will provide you with the kit you need to make the device, you will get to take this home afterwards. This event is aimed at people with some experience in Arduino, electronics or Software development. This is not suitable to someone who has never programmed at least a basic website or an Arduino.

1. This hackathon is happening in Umlazi, at the red bull Amaphiko event
2. There are only 10 spaces.
3. The hackathon starts at 12pm sharp! late attendees will not be permitted and will forfeit their registration fee and arduino kit. No exceptions.
4. Participants need to bring a laptop with Arduino IDE installed 
5. Registration fee is R50, this is non-refundable.
6. Winner will be judged at 4pm and will win R500 (all the registration fees)
7. Any participants who leave before 4pm will forfeit their registration fee and arduino kit.
8. Arduino kit includes
   1. Arduino compatible WiFi enabled witty cloud board (esp8266)
   2. Micro usb cable
   3. Weather sensors
   4. Prototyping Breadboard
   5. Jumper wires
9. Remember this is supposed to be fun!
