Make your own mold and casting something. We supply all the tools and materials you need for a fun and educational workshop. You get to learn about how it’s all made. Take your cast home with you!
In this workshop we will supply each person with silicon and fast curing catalyst to make a silicone mold. We will supply a small solid object suitable for casting, but you are welcome to bring something of your own. Bear in mind that you will need to remove the object from the mold, ideal shape is something like half a golf ball. We teach you how to mix and pour the silicone in suitable container. Once the silicone is cured we will teach you how to mix fast curing epoxy casting resin with pigments and fillers so you can replicate the object you cast, or remix it entirely. Take it all home with you after the workshop.
What to bring:
An solid object with a flat side/surface and no large overhangs.
An old t-shirt/top in case you spill on your clothes.
An open mind and good attitude!
