Make your own custom skateboard (longboard) deck. This event is split over 2 days:
Friday 6pm-10pm: Cut, form and glue the deck, design the artwork.
Saturday Morning 9am-12pm: Shape, sand, laser etch, varnish, drill and grip tape.
Saturday Afternoon 1pm-5pm: Assemble and ride! Includes a session at the mamba skate track in Salt Rock with a braai and a few cold ones!
What you need:
1. a laptop (to work on your artwork)
2. wheels, bearings and trucks (we can supply at a discount if required)
Everything else is provided as part of the class, including:
Plywood, Laser training, varnish, sandpaper, drills, saws, grip tape, half day entry to “the Mamba”, braai pack.
