Make your own custom skateboard (longboard) deck 24 & 26 February 2016.
NOTE to parents: please ensure you select the correct ticker type. No under 13’s without a parent, under 16’s without supervision pay more due to the extra work required for supervision.
This event is split over 3 days:
24 Feb – Wednesday 6pm-9pm: Cut, form and glue the deck, design the artwork.
25 Feb – Thursday – drying time
26 Feb – Friday 5pm-9pm: Shape, sand, laser etch, varnish, drill and grip tape.
Saturday: Test your board at “The Mamba”.
What you need:
1. a laptop (to work on your artwork)
2. wheels, bearings and trucks (we can supply at a discount if required. Please let us know before hand if you are wanting to get these at a discount.)
Everything else is provided as part of the class, including:Plywood, Laser training, varnish, sandpaper, drills, saws, grip tape, half day entry to “the Mamba”to test your board on Saturday 20th.
